We spoke with Cao Yin, Founding Partner and Chief Architect at Energy Blockchain Labs. They joined Hyperledger in August 2016 and have developed their own industry applications in energy, based on Hyperledger Fabric.
Only an open source and collaborative software development approach like Hyperledger can ensure the transparency, longevity, interoperability, and support needed to bring blockchain technologies forward for Energy Blockchain Laboratory’s customers and partners.
According to Cao, blockchain and distributed ledger technologies can have applicability in many areas and domains outside of finance. They want to attract supporters to do more projects and research in energy to deliver a new, better ecosystem for the next generation.
